As she prepares to jump from the plane, flying just over 16,00 feet, Rosie Redmond thanks the pilot for the flight. Before the pilot could utter a sound in response, she took one step forward, stopping with her feet hanging halfway over the edge of the opening.
The pilot looked back, for Rosie was his most avid flyer. He always liked to give her proper send-offs. But on this flight, it was too late. Rosie was already spinning around on one foot and leaning out of the plane. Then, he noticed something unusual.
“Wait, you left your parachu…”
The statement did not surprise her. She was completely unphased as she jumped into a graceful swan dive. This was not her first time diving, but it would be her last. Skydiving no longer provided her the adrenaline rushes that she so desperately craved. Her intention on this day, as it had been on every day for the past week, was to find new excitement or die trying. And she had found it. Bank robbery would be her savior.
